Teamwork and Collaboration Nursing CE Course | NursingCE

In this Evidence Based Practice course, the collaborative project assignment is focused on a choosing a topic and formulating a PICOT question. I am working with my classmate Lauren on this project, and we have mapped out how we are going to accomplish this project with an outline that can account for future changes down the line. We plan to divide the work evenly and have open communication during the entirety of the project to make sure that we hold each other and ourselves accountable for the completion of the work. If any conflict is to arise during the project, we plan to openly communicate to resolve any issues. If we cannot resolve any conflict between ourselves, we will instill the help of our professor. My partner and I have worked together and study for other courses together; we are familiar with one another’s work ethic and quality of work; therefore, I do not foresee any issues arising during the longevity of this project. Although my partner and I work well together, a possible barrier to completing this team project would be the workload of other courses impinging upon the quality of work we are able to give this project. However, with time management and motivation, we believe that we will be able to complete the project with a high standard. I believe that this collaborative project will simulate what it will be like when we enter the world as nurses in the future; there will be times when we as nurses need to work together on a project to improve the working conditions or the conditions for our patients. Workloads can be tough when working as a nurse, so completing a project that requires a lot of time and effort while managing other work will help prepare us for our future nursing practices.
