STEVEN KING’S IT

 

 

Stephen King’s IT has always been one of my favorite movies since I was younger. I love Stephen King’s books and anything that has to do with horror films. For my animated GIF, I decided to use the scene when Georgie is being tempted into the sewer by Pennywise (the Dancing Clown). This is probably the most iconic scene from this movie because it is what starts off the series of brutal killings of children in the town of Derry. Georgie’s death is the inspiration for his older brother, Bill, to fight the evil monster and put an end to all of the madness. I think most people who see this scene would know it is from the movie IT, because of the little boy in the yellow trench coat, the clown in the sewer, and the paper boat. These three things are so iconic to the movie that I wanted to create a GIF that encompassed it all, which I was able to do with this creation!
